Today's walk was an extra walk for those that felt up to an all day walk with 860 metres of assent. There were just six people on the walk and sorry dog lovers JJ was on holiday. The walk started in the village of Sotirianika leaving the village square we took the road down towards Ridino gorge. After 500 metres we started our climb up the Kalderimi to Altomira. This climb took us up to an altitude of 860 metres and a small chapel were we took a coffee break. After that we went on to the village of Altomira where we had a picnic lunch sat in the old village square. We then took the track and road for our desent back into Sotirianika. The whole walk took us six hours.
