Today's walks took us from Kardamilli up the to the old town and then up the kaldarimi to the tombs of Castor and Pollocks. We continued our assent up to the church of Aghios Sofia, where we took a short break. We then started to descend into a wooded gorge which led us to the village of Petrovouni. From here we began our descent down the kaldarimi into Kardamilli. Where we had lunch at Diskouri Taverna. There were 16 of us on the walk. Sadly for fans of J.J. the dog, he was not with us this week but I am assured be will be back next week. Walks are every Tuesday through September & October meet at Lefktron Hotel, Stoupa 09.30.
