KAMBOS CIRCULAR WALK

KAMBOS CIRCULAR WALK TUESDAY 28TH MAY 2013

Another overcast and cloudy day, but still very warm day, saw 26 and JJ the dog set out from Kambos. Our aim was was to walk down into the Ridimo gorge. With a slight technical hitch at the beginning, due to a vehicle breakdown on the way to Kambos. We all set off in pursuit of our walk leader Steve. The walk to the gorge took just over and hour. A rest was taken at the bridge. Drama was to follow on our way back, when we found a horn nosed viper on the track. We arrived back in Kambos without further incident and lunch was taken in the square at Mirandas. Thank you to everyone who helped out with transport.
Update from Peter Chamberlain a picture of the horn nosed viper
