I am organising a walk this Wednesday 28th December. The weather
on that day is the best of the week, so should be nice. The walk will
finish with a picnic at Vaidenitsa monastery in Vassiliki Forest.
Everyone is welcome to come, just bring food and/or drink for sharing at
the picnic.
Meet at 10.30 at the road junction below Kastania where the road starts towards Saidona.
We will then walk by the road towards Saidona and round to the forest. This is a fairly easy walk but is about 8 kilometres.
If anyone just wants to join the picnic, let me know and we can
discuss. Would probably have to contact you en route with an ETA. The
monastery is a 5-10 minute walk off the road which is unavoidable.
